YOUR PHOTOS, YOUR SPACE

Privacy policy

Last updated September 12, 2026

This policy describes the first release of Boothize at boothize.com. The website lets you create photo strips in your browser without an account. It does not provide photo hosting, cloud backups, or a searchable gallery.

Camera access

The booth asks your browser for camera permission only when you choose to enable the camera. It requests video for a live preview and still-picture capture; it does not request microphone access or record a video. Your browser controls permission. You can stop the camera in the booth, close the tab, or revoke permission in your browser’s site settings.

Your photos and captions

Camera snapshots, imported images, selected styles, and captions are held in memory in the current page. Boothize processes these on your device and does not upload them to a photo server. The site does not save those images in cookies, local storage, or a database. Refreshing or leaving the page clears the working session. A downloaded copy remains on your device until you delete it yourself.

Downloading, copying, and sharing

Downloading creates a file on your device. Copying puts the finished image on your system clipboard, which may be accessible to other applications or synchronized by your device settings. Sharing passes a file to the destination you choose through your device’s share sheet. That destination may upload or retain the image under its own policy. Boothize cannot recall a downloaded, copied, or shared file.

Connection information and hosting

Delivering a web page necessarily involves connection data such as an IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time. The hosting provider may process ordinary access and security logs. These requests do not include your camera feed, photos, or captions. This site is designed for static hosting on Cloudflare Pages; applicable provider practices are described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Cookies, analytics, and advertisements

This release does not set application cookies or include third-party analytics or advertising scripts. There is no account identifier or marketing signup. Hosting security features may have their own necessary behavior. Advertising is a possible future funding source, but no advertising provider is integrated in this release. Before introducing one, this policy and any required consent choices must reflect the actual implementation.

People in your photos

Ask permission before taking or sharing pictures of other people. Take particular care with children’s photos and use device-level supervision where appropriate. The booth does not identify faces, build biometric profiles, or ask for names, ages, addresses, or email addresses.

Control and deletion

Use Start over to clear the photos from the active booth, and Stop camera to end the live preview. Closing the tab also ends the session. Delete any downloaded files and clear your clipboard separately if you no longer want those copies. Because there is no server-side photo account, Boothize has no cloud archive from which to retrieve or delete your pictures.

Changes to this policy

This page will be updated when the site’s behavior changes. The date above identifies this version. Read the terms of use for service limitations, or return to the photo booth.
